Nawal is a Somali Subject Matter Expert, and independent contractor for Somali Go only available nights and weekends. She is a community organizer with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of Somali culture, language, and history. With a background in working with the Somali community, she has the skills and expertise necessary to provide valuable insights and assistance in a wide range of areas, including immigration and citizenship, cultural sensitivity and awareness, and community engagement. Nawal is also able to provide translation and interpretation services in Somali language. Furthermore, she has extensive experience working with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other organizations serving the Somali community.

Normin has the knowledge needed to help all clients with any business-related issues. Since 2016 she has run her own consulting firm. But she has joined full time as our language support and services director in 2020 providing all the necessary language needs.
